Turkey to tighten lockdown from May 7

The Turkish Ministry of Internal Affairs reports that from May 7, the country is introducing a number of additional measures to combat the spread of coronavirus.

From May 7, all stores in Turkey, including supermarkets, will only sell products on the essential goods list.

A ban is introduced on the sale of electronics, tools, toys, stationery, textiles, clothing and accessories, car accessories, garden supplies, glass products. Earlier, a restriction on the sale of alcohol was announced.
