Georgia develops Covid passports
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaThe Georgian government is developing green passports for those who have completed the full course of vaccination against coronavirus, the head of the Covid-19 Operational Headquarters of the Interdepartmental Coordination Council, Georgy Gibradze, informed.
The issuance of Covid passports in Georgia was announced in late April; these passports will meet the parameters and standards of the European Union.
"Active work is underway on the development of so-called green passports, which will be issued after the full course of vaccination. The issue will be presented for the interagency coordination council’s consideration in the near future,” the head of the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health Amiran Gamkrelidze informed.
