Iranian Parliament appoints speaker

The Parliament of Iran has elected a speaker and the members of the presidium. Ali Laridzhani was appointed speaker, Trend reports.

He was elected by 212 votes. According to the internal charter of the parliament, the speaker and the members of the presidium are elected annually.
