Georgian lawyers to start protest in front of parliament

Georgian lawyers will start a protest in front of parliament today demanding amendments to the Electoral Code,reports Trend.

The lawyers want a number of amendments to the Electoral Code, including raising the electoral barrier to 50%.

The initiative, which has already been submitted to parliament, has been signed by 450 lawyers, including the chairman of the Bar Association of Georgia, Zaza Khatiashvili.
