Wind topples trees in Moscow

According to preliminary data, a strong wind toppled more than 10 trees in different parts of Moscow, a source familiar with the situation informed.

No one was hurt, Interfax reports with a reference to the source. 

The metropolitan meteorological office reported that wind gusts reached 17 m / s today.

Earlier, the Moscow Department of Transport said that trees knocked down by the wind blocked the movement of trams on Zhivopisnaya and Timiryazevskaya streets, compensation buses were launched there.
