Russia to launch fund for support of Russian communities abroad

Russia will launch a fund for the support and protection of ethnic
Russians living abroad, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said at the
Russian Security Council, RIA Novosti reports.

The fund will be founded by the Foreign Ministry and Federal Agency
for the CIS, Compatriots Living Abroad and International Humanitarian
Cooperation. It will be launched in 2012.
