International peacekeeping forum "Islam - religion of peace and creation" ends in Grozny

The forum was held in the capital of the Chechen Republic from May
25-27 and was attended by delegates from over 30 countries and
included representatives of various denominations, known theologians,
politicians and public figures.

The resolution adopted on the basis of the forum raised concerns about
recent tendencies in Muslim regions, where, under the pretext of

supporting small opposition groups, human rights violations take place
and the role of government in addressing these issues is diminished.
