MTS builds communication lines between Dagestan and neighboring regions

Mobile TeleSystems (MTS), the leading telecommunications operator in Russia and the CIS, has completed the first stage of construction of  its own trunk lines between Dagestan and the neighboring regions of southern Russia,  reports Yuga.ru.

The backbone network totaling 800 km was launched in the operation, it will connect the republic of Dagestan to the Astrakhan region, Stavropol region and Chechnya. The capacity of new lines of communication is 2,5 Gbps.
