Nabucco to be discussed in Brussels

The Nabucco project will contribute to energy security and the
diversification of hydro carbon transportation, TRT reports.

The European Policy Center in Brussels discussed the energy policy of
Turkey, the Nabucco project. Turkey is viewed as a reliable partner.
Cooperation with Turkey will continue.

Turkey said that 72% of oil and gas resources are located near it,
which makes it a reliable bridge to fulfill Europe's demands for
energy.

Vladimir Sokor, representative of the Jamestown Fund in Washington,
said that Nabucco will transport Turkmen gas. The project is expected
to be realized in 2017 and become the most real and strategically
significant regional project.
