Suspect in Dzhikayev's assassination killed

The man suspected of the assassination of Shamil Dzhikayev, the Dean of the Philology Faculty of the North Ossetian State University and public figure, has been killed during a special operation, RIA Novosti cites the press service of the republican ministry of internal affairs.

The name of the suspect is David Murashev. He opened fire as the police were trying to detain him. The police eventually didn't manage to take him alive and he was killed during the operation.
