Iranian Parliament submits case on Ahmadinejad to court
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaThe Iranian Parliament has submitted a case on the country’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to the judicial body over his assumption of the leadership of the Oil Ministry, Trend reports.
Some 165 deputies voted to submit the case to the court, one MP voted against, while 13 abstained from voting. Earlier, the country's parliament and the Guardian Council pointed out to Ahmadinejad the inadmissibility of simultaneously executing his duties as a minister and as president.
