Azerbaijan and France to develop nuclear technologies together

Azerbaijani and French specialists have started joint research of
nuclear technologies, Trend cites Adil Garibov, director of the
Institute for Radiation Problems of the National Academy of Sciences
of Azerbaijan, as saying.

France will train young staff for Azerbaijan. Research will be
conducted in France due to Azerbaijan lacking nuclear facilities.

France has about 90 research reactors. They were built using advanced
technology. France is the only nuclear state that has never had a
nuclear accident.

Garibov said that the sides will make reports annually. Research will
only be conducted for peaceful purposes.
