Festival of Caucasian People's Friendship held in Pyatigorsk

A festival of Caucasian People's Friendship is being held in the Southern Russian city of Pyatigorsk, RIA Dagestan cites the administration of the Presidential Envoy to the North Caucasian Federal Disrict.

Horse races are being held in the framework of the festival. In addition to this, spectators can also watch performances of Caucasian theatres. The patron of the event is the Presidential Envoy in the North Caucasus Federal District, Vice Premier of the Russian Federation Alexander Khloponin.

Delegations from several regions of the Russian South are taking part in the festival. The Dagestani delegation is led by the head of the republic, Magomedsalam Magomedov.
