Azerbaijan and Jordan to produce combat armor together

The Azerbaijani Ministry for Military Industry and NP Aerospace
Jordan, a company in Jordan, have signed a deal on joint production of
bulletproof vests and helmets. The contract was signed by the director
of NP Aerospace, Nabil Issa, and the director of the Radioquraşdırma
factory, Ramiz Mamedov, Trend reports.

The Jordanian company will provide 15,000 units of composite material
for helmets and 12,000 ceramic plates for bulletproof vests to
Radioquraşdırma.

Azerbaijani specialists will be trained in Jordan to produce helmets
and vests. Production will start in 2012.
