FIFA gives no response to Iranian complaints about ban of hijabs on the field

FIFA rejected the complaint filed by the Football Federation of Iran (FFI) in connection with the fact that women's national team was not allowed to the Olympic qualification match because of the traditional Muslim clothing, RIA Novosti reported with reference to the AP.

Once the ban was declared, Iranian team entered the field, sang the national anthem, kissed the flag of his country and left the field. As a result, it was credited with a forfeit loss with a score of 0:3.
