Police find explosive devices in Ingushetia

Police in Ingushetia’s Sunzhensky District have discovered two homemade explosive devices, Interfax said on Wednesday, citing a law enforcement source.

The devices were discovered by police during a search in the village of Orgonikidzevskaja. They were concealed in wasteland.

“The area has been sealed off. The devices are being defused,” police said.

In a separate incident in the volatile republic, unknown assailants fired at a privately-owned food shop in the town of Karabulak. No one was injured and there was minimal damage.
