Eggs thrown at Mikhail Saakashvili and Vera Kobalia

Eggs were thrown today at Georgian president Mikhail Saakashvili and the country's economy minister, Vera Kobalia.

They were visiting the camp of patriots in the Georgian village of Anakli. The president and the minister spoke to Azeri, Armenian and Georgian children, who are spending their holidays there, and stated the historic importance of the village, news.am reports.

After that, Saakashvili and Kobalia arrived in Zugdidi to have dinner in the Diaron restaurant. When they finished their meal and went outside local people began to throw eggs at them.

It is difficult to say who exactly was the target of the provocation. Kobalia left Zugdidi at once.
