Georgian National Bank improves consumer protection

The Georgian National Bank is planning to introduce amendments to the
Code of Administrative Violations. All payments will be made with an
accuracy of even 1 tetri. Individuals may be fined with 200 lari,
legal bodies - 400 lari, Business Georgia reports.

The current law has a penalty of 20-40 minimum wages for violations
related to the national currency.
