Stavropol Territory to support local business with billion rubles

The Ministry of Economic Development of Stavropol Territory has
requested support for a purpose program for development of small and
medium-sized business in the region for 2009-2011, using finances from
the federal budget, Yuga.ru reports.


Stavropol Territory needs 1.067 billion rubles. The regional
administration will provide 266.75 million rubles. The total sum of
support for small and medium-sized business may reach 1.333 billion
rubles. 700 million rubles were provided in 2010, about 440 million in
2009, 140 million in 2006-2008.


Over 500 million of the sum will be spent on a technical park, a
center for collective use of advanced technology and equipment and a
center for technology transfer, while 200 million rubles will be spent
on grants for start-ups and subsidies. The Guarantee Fund will spend
250 million rubles on additional capitalization and the Microfinancing
Fund will provide 200 million rubles. Over 70 million rubles will be
spent on access for small and medium-sized business to electricity.
