Krasnodar Territory tests new SAM system

The ground forces of Krasnodar Territory have started testing a new
mobile SAM system, a spokesman for the Russian Defense Ministry,
Lieutenant-Colonel Sergey Vlasov, told RIA Novosti.

Testing started at the 726th training center in Yeysk. Vlasov said
that the basic capabilities of the anti-missile forces will improve by
40%.

General-Major Alexander Leonov, head of the Anti-Missile Forces, said
that testing will be completed in 2011. 250 complexes will be
purchased in 2012.
