Armenia to develop greenhouse farming

Greenhouse farms can produce 95 per cent of the vegetables consumed by the country's population, director of the "Greenhouse Farming Association" Pogos Gevorkyan said, adding that they now produce only 45 per cent, ARKA reports.

According to Gevorkyan, the climate in Armenia is suitable for the development of greenhouse farming. The most important thing is to adopt new technologies, Gevorkyan believes.
