A spokesman for the Iranian Foreign Ministry condemned the intervention statements of the Foreign Office’s publication on Iran's defence power, IRNA writes.

"The Islamic Republic does not ask anyone for permission for its defence program, and this issue is non-negotiable," he said.

The spokesman also noted that Great Britain "knows better than others that Iran's missile program has nothing to do with UNSCR 2231" and added that, according to Resolution 2231, London is actually violating it.
