New Year exhibition "Azerbaijani folk tales" opened at VDNKh
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaNew Year's exhibition "Azerbaijani folk tales" opened today in the Azerbaijan Pavilion at VDNKh in Moscow. Director of the Azerbaijan Trade and Exhibition Center at VDNKh Saadat Kadyrova told Vestnik Kavkaza about this event.
"The New Year is the time when everyone, both adults and children, is waiting for a miracle and magic. And it seemed to us that it would be symbolic to open such an exhibition on the eve of the New Year," she said in the first place.
"We have presented the Azerbaijani folk tales book published by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. The author of this book is vice-president of the Foundation Leyla Aliyeva. It is great that the Foundation and Leyla Aliyeva personally pay great attention to the Russian language and such interesting books. Azerbaijani folklore is something that we learn at mother's knee. Growing up, our children rely on the values that are contained in these fairy tales," Saadat Kadyrova said.
"I really hope this book will find its reader and children will love it, including the Russian ones. We will also have a quiz for children, where you can win the Azerbaijani folk tales book. We also have an area where children can colour symbols of Azerbaijan. We have a cinema for children there presenting Azerbaijani cartoons and fairy tales," she said.
"Any person who comes here with children will be able to get acquainted with Azerbaijani fairy tales in this very cozy place," the director of the Azerbaijan Trade and Exhibition Center concluded.
