Russian Foreign Ministry: Moscow is not negotiating on the Taliban's recognition

Earlier, Taliban spokesperson Zabiullah Mujahid announced plans to send his ambassador to Moscow.
"We have not received any notifications from the Afghan side, from the Afghan authorities about the decision to send their ambassador to the Russian Federation," RIA Novosti quotes Zakharova.
Zakharova also stressed that currently, negotiations on the recognition of the interim government of Afghanistan were not underway. According to her, the Taliban know Russia's position on this issue.
