Medvedev satisfied with meeting Uzbek president

Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has expressed satisfaction with the
talks with his Uzbek counterpart Islam Karimov, ITAR-TASS reports.

Medvedev said that the meeting was intensive and positive.

Karimov escorted Medvedev to the airport in a single car, continuing
talks on the way. The Uzbek president said that they had exchanged
views on global issues.

Medvedev is on his way to the summit of the Shanghai Cooperation
Organization in Astana.
