UAE temporarily bans the use of private UAVs in the country

The United Arab Emirates' (UAE) authorities have imposed a temporary ban on the use of private drones and light sports aircraft in the country, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs informs.

It is clarified that the decision was made after UAVs and light sports aircraft had been recorded in areas not intended for this kind of activity.

"The resolution comes into force for one month starting from January 22", TASS quoted the document.
