Gazprom extends gas supply and transit contracts with Belarus until 2022
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaThe contracts of Gazprom and Gazprom Transgaz Belarus for the supply of gas to Belarus, as well as its transit through the territory of the republic, have been extended to 2022, the website of the Russian holding says.
The previous contracts were valid until the end of 2021, the parties signed supplements on their extension on January 25, 2022.
The estimated cost of services to transport natural gas through Belarus this year will be $250 million, and the cost of gas delivery will be about $2,44 billion. Thus, Gazprom will supply a little more than 19 billion cubic meters of gas to Belarus at a price of $128,52 for 1 thousand cubic meters in 2022.
In 2020, Russia supplied 18,766 billion cubic meters of gas to Belarus, and in 2021 the figures will be about 20,6 billion cubic meters.
