Azerbaijan receives more investments

Azerbaijan received 3.4 billion manats of investments in January-May 2011, exceeding the indicator in the same period of 2010 by 12.1%, the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan said, 1news.az reports.

2 billion manats were invested in the main capital for construction of roads (0.1% surplus).

2.6 billion manats, or 75.9% of inner investments, show an increase by 9.6%. Foreign investments increased by 20.7%.

Azerbaijan received 9.7 billion manats of investments in 2010, which exceeds the indicator of the previous year by 21.2%. three quarters of investments were inner. 6.4 billion manats were invested in the main capital for road construction.

48.6% were spent on production, 51.4% on construction of facilities for services. 50.8% of investments come from enterprises and organizations, 32.8% - budget finances, 4.2% - population, 12.2% - other sources.
