Iran invites visitors to nuclear facilities

Iran invites all states, including the six mediators of the nuclear
program (USA, UK, France, China, Russia and Germany) to view the
country's nuclear facilities, Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar
Salehi said, iribnews.ir reports.

Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) have always
cooperated well, the minister said. He insists that the nuclear
program is peaceful.

The USA and a set of other states accuse Iran of developing nuclear
arms on the background of the peaceful program. Iran denies all
accusations and insists that the program is aimed at fulfilling
demands for electricity.

A file on the Iranian program was sent from the IAEA to the UN
Security Council in 2006. The Security Council passed the fifth
resolution on Iran. The previous resolutions introduced economic
sanctions.
