S7 Airlines permitted to open Moscow-Kutaisi air service

S7 Airlines (Russia) has received permission for charter flights
between Moscow and Kutaisi, Business Georgia cites a spokesman of the
company, Paata Karamauli, as saying.


Flights may start in late July and continue for 3 months. Moscow and
Kutaisi are expected to open the service on August 6 with two flights.


Kutaisi and Moscow lost air service in 2008 after the war in August.


The spokesman also said that S7 Airlines received permission for
Moscow-Tbilisi-Moscow flights until September 2011.


The air company has 5 charter flights from Moscow to Tbilisi, on
Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. There will be
flights the whole week from July 6.
