Russian skiers win gold and silver at Beijing Olympics

Russian skier Alexander Bolshunov won the gold medal in the mass start event.

This is the athlete's third gold medal at the Beijing Olympics.

Silver went to Russian Ivan Yakimushkin. The athlete from Norway, Simen Kruger, finished third.

Due to bad weather conditions, the race started later, and the distance was shortened from 50 to 28.4 km.
