Locusts destroy 6,500 hectares of crops in Dagestan

Locusts have destroyed 6,500 hectares, doubling the damage they
inflicted yesterday, RIA Novosti reports.

Specialists have treated 5,800 hectares. The locusts only destroyed 10
hectares of winter wheat. 20,500 hectares will be treated.
