Erdogan to head security summit

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is expected to convene a security summit following the situation in Ukraine on Thursday.

Defense Minister Hulusi Akar, commanders and intelligence officials are expected to attend the meeting, Daily Sabah reported.

On Wednesday, Erdogan highlighted the necessity of maintaining calm and that Turkey will maintain relations with both countries amid the ongoing tensions between Russia and Ukraine.
