New finance minister appointed in Georgia

Dmitry Gvindadze has been appointed as the new Georgian finance minister, Trend cites Georgian Prime Minister Nika Gilauri as telling a specially-organized press conference today.

The prime minister thanked the former finance minister, Kakha Baindurashvili, who recently resigned to sit on the board of the Georgian Post public corporation.
