Bomb defused in North Ossetia

A bomb equivalent to 8 kg of TNT was defused in the village of Maysky
in the Prigorodny district in North Ossetia at 20:30, RIA Novosti
reports.

The bomb was found at the bridge over Alkhanchurtsky Canal. It
resembled a 10-liter bucket with ammonium nitrate and aluminum powder
with projectiles.

The bomb that went off at Domodedovo Airport on January 24, 2011, was
equivalent to 7 kg of TNT. 37 people died and over 120 were injured.
