Sanctions against Russian Federation to provoke energy crisis in US?

In connection with the US administration's impending ban on oil purchases in Russia, the country could face a global energy crisis, Senator Chris Koons warned.

"Frankly, we will face a global energy crisis ... We may well see a doubling of energy prices," Koons noted.
