World oil prices are showing positive dynamics on the news that the US intends to stop importing raw materials from Russia.

According to trading data, the price of Brent May delivery rose by 5.69%, to $130.22 per barrel, April WTI futures - by 5.2%, to $125.61.

Earlier, Senator Chris Koons announced that Washington is preparing to ban oil purchases from Russia.

According to the forecasts of the politician, this measure will cause an energy crisis in the US.
