The executive director of the analytical agency S&P Global, Aaron Brady, predicted severe disruptions in the oil supply to the world market.
According to him, this may happen due to the events in Ukraine and sanctions against the Russian Federation.
"...potentially, given the size of Russia, this could be the largest disruption in oil supplies in history, comparable to 1977," he said, stressing that Russia remains "an indispensable supplier of oil" to the world market, RIA Novosti reports.
