Air Astana limits number of flights to Russia

The Kazakh airline Air Astana, one of the largest air carriers in the country, is forced to suspend a number of flights to Russian cities for operational reasons, the press service of the carrier said.

"The Air Astana group of companies was forced to temporarily suspend a number of flights from Kazakhstan to the Russian cities for operational reasons. Currently, flights continue to operate from Almaty and Nur-Sultan to Moscow and back", TASS quoted the message.

The carrier makes every effort to resolve production issues as soon as possible. In case of success, Air Astana and FlyArystan will resume flights to Russian cities early next week, the message said.
