13 hospitalized with cholera in Iran

13 people have been hospitalized with cholera in Iran, they are in satisfactory condition, Hossein Masoumi Asl, head of the center for infection control of the Iranian Ministry for Healthcare and Medical Education, said, Trend reports.

Infection was registered in Sistan, Belujistan, Akhvaz, Hormuzgan Provinces. Their relatives have not been infected.

Cholera has been registered for 45 years. 15 people were infected in 2010. It is not a common disease in the country, Masoumi Asl said.
