407 flights cancelled in Istanbul due to snowfall

In Istanbul, 407 flights of Turkish Airlines were cancelled due to heavy snowfall, the Haberturk portal informs.

Earlier, snowfall in Istanbul led to the disruption of air, sea and land communications. The authorities cancelled classes in educational institutions, and due to poor visibility, the movement of ships across the Bosphorus was suspended.

According to the news portal, in the evening, the snowfall in the city will intensify.
