Armenian ruling party representative: There are no territorial claims against Azerbaijan

Armenia recognized the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan as far back as 1991, signing together with Azerbaijan the "Agreement on the Establishment of the Commonwealth of Independent States", by which the parties, in fact, fully recognized each other's territorial integrity. Eduard Aghajanyan, the Chairperson of Armenian National Assembly Standing Committee on Foreign Relations, stated this on the air of "Liberty" radio station.

He also expressed the opinion that the problem of Armenians living in Karabakh should be resolved in accordance with international norms and principles, according to which Armenia has its own position and it will be clearly shown during the negotiations

According to Aghajanyan, it is necessary to conduct a dialogue, including on the Karabakh's final status. During these negotiations, it is necessary to clarify the issue of Karabakh as part of Azerbaijan, explained the Armenian ruling party representative "Civil Contract".
