Georgia announces beginning of pandemic's end

Judging by the epidemiological situation, a new type of coronavirus is changing from a pandemic spread to an endemic one, Georgian Deputy Minister of Health Tamar Gabunia said.

According to her, all the signs show this.

"This does not mean that it does not need attention. We think that it will be local in nature, and not pandemic", Sputnik Georgia quoted the official.

Gabunia also assessed the epidemiological situation in the country, expressing the opinion that the situation is improving rather quickly.
