Azerbaijani boxer to fight with Armenian athlete

The European Under 22 Men's and Women's Boxing Championship's quarterfinals are held in Porec, Croatia.

It became known that one of the semi-finalists of the continental championship was Jalal Gurbanov (63.5 kilograms), who defeated Jere Niemeläinen (Finland) and Nikoma Nikolov (Slovenia), and in the quarterfinals he defeated Igor Kovtun (Ukraine) with a score of 5:0.

Now he has to fight for silver with the representative of Armenia Artur Shahbazyan. The fight will take place on Sunday, March 20, Sputnik Azerbaijan reports.
