China confirms no survivors of Boeing 737 crash

In China, all 132 people aboard the Boeing 737 that crashed on March 21 have been officially confirmed dead, Hu Zhenjiang, Deputy Head of the Civil Aviation Administration of China, said at a press conference.

"All 123 passengers and nine crew members on board China Eastern Airlines flight MU5735, which departed on March 21, were killed", TASS quoted him.

The official added that no survivors were found during the search and rescue operation. Hu Zhenjiang noted that 120 of the victims were identified by DNA analysis.

Let us remind you that the China Eastern Airlines plane flew from Kunming (southwestern Yunnan province) to Guangzhou (southern Guangdong province). It crashed in the mountains in the urban district of Wuzhou, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
