Federation Council ratifies agreement on border with Azerbaijan
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaOn Wednesday the Federation Council of Russia ratified the agreement between Moscow and Baku on marking their mutual land border from the point of juncture of the Russian, Azeri and Georgian national borders to the Caspian Sea, RIA Novosti reports.
The border line coincides with the former administrative border between the Dagestani ASSR and the Azeri ASSR.
The agreement was signed in Baku on September 3rd, 2010. Russia is the first country with which Azerbaijan has signed an agreement on its border.
