Germany was right to refrain from boycotting Russian gas
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaGerman Vice-Chancellor Robert Habeck said that the refusal of gas from Russia could cause a split in German business and society.
“Now we can see the scale of the situation. What industries are closed, what sectors can no longer be supplied? This is not a game, but a very serious scenario with possible deep splits in business and society, a sharp cessation of supplies," RIA Novosti quotes Habeck as saying.
According to him, Germany is gradually reducing energy imports from Russia, and in this regard, Berlin "is moving faster than we thought four weeks ago."
