Tokayev and Erdogan discuss bilateral relations in phone call

In a phone call, the Turkish and Kazakh presidents on Monday discussed bilateral relations and regional developments, including the situation in Ukraine, said an official statement.

In the call with Kazakhstan’s Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan also underlined the importance of ensuring complete freedom in transportation between Turkiye and Kazakhstan, Turkiye’s Communications Directorate said in a statement.

The presidents also extended best wishes to each other for the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, which just began, the statement added.
