Russia's participation in UNHRC suspended

According to RIA Novosti, 93 states voted for the adoption of this resolution. 24 voted against, while 58 abstained from voting.
The draft resolution was prepared by a number of Western countries, including the United States, Ukraine, and Latvia. It is emphasized that this step is taken because of the special operation of Russia on the territory of Ukraine.
According to the resolution, the General Assembly "decides to suspend the rights of Russia's membership in the UN Human Rights Council". At the same time, the General Assembly can "revise the decision if necessary".
