Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan has met the Secretary General of the
Council of Europe, Thorbjorn Jagland, at the third day of the PACE
session. Sargsyan said that he wants a constructive dialogue, Trend
reports.

The Armenian president believes that there are good conditions for
approval of the final principles for settling the Nagorno-Karabakh
conflict. The summit in Kazan may bring positive results. The OSCE
Minsk Group has been a good format for settling the conflict.

Concerning Turkish-Armenian relations, Sargsyan said that their
normalization started 2 years ago and that protocols had been signed.

The talks have reached a dead end. Turkey refuses to recognize the
genocide of the Armenian population. Such a position makes
ratification of the protocols impossible, the president said.
